Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

To operate VECTYR we collect: account data (email, display name); profile data you provide during onboarding (age, gender, height, weight, sport, goals, equipment, schedule, dietary preferences); training data (workouts, sets, weights, personal records); nutrition data (logged meals and macros); body measurements and weight history; recovery check-ins; progress photos you choose to upload; AI coach conversation history; and team roster information you create; and safety reports you submit about AI-generated content, including the reported output, your selected reason, and optional details.

2. How We Use It

Your data is used to generate your training program, compute nutrition targets, power progress analytics, and provide the AI coach with context to answer your questions. Meal photos submitted to the AI scanner are processed to estimate macros. AI safety reports are reviewed to identify unsafe output and improve filtering and moderation. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Progress Photos

Progress photos are stored in a private storage bucket that only your authenticated account can access. They are never public and are permanently deleted when you delete your account.

4. Payments

Web subscriptions are processed by Stripe; native subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google via RevenueCat. We never see or store your full card details. Payment processors handle your billing information under their own privacy policies.

5. Service Providers

We use trusted infrastructure providers to run VECTYR: Supabase (database, authentication, file storage), Stripe and RevenueCat (billing), AI model providers (program and chat responses, meal photo analysis), an email delivery provider (account and transactional emails), and optionally Sentry (error reporting) and PostHog (product analytics). Each processes data only as needed to provide their service.

6. AI Processing and Your Permission

VECTYR uses Google Gemini, provided by Google LLC, as its sole third-party AI processor. VECTYR sends AI requests directly to Google's Gemini API. Before any personal data is sent for AI processing, VECTYR displays an in-app disclosure and asks for your permission.

For meal scanning, the meal photo you select or capture is sent to estimate the meal name, calories, protein, carbohydrates, and fat. For AI Coach, your message, recent conversation context, fitness goals, sport, schedule, experience, equipment, age, gender, height, weight, dietary preferences, and completed workout count may be sent to personalize the requested response. These providers process the data only to return the AI result; VECTYR does not sell it.

AI features remain unavailable if you choose Not Now. You may withdraw permission at any time from Profile → Privacy & Data. VECTYR will ask again before a future AI request.

7. Emails

We send account emails (verification, password reset, account deletion codes) and transactional emails (team invites). You can unsubscribe from non-critical email via the link in any message; account-critical emails (such as deletion verification codes) are still delivered because the account cannot operate safely without them.

8. Your Rights: Export & Deletion

You can export all of your data at any time from Profile → Privacy & Data as a JSON file. You can permanently delete your account from Profile → Danger Zone; deletion is verified by an emailed code and removes your profile, training and nutrition history, photos, and authentication record.

To request deletion on any platform, sign in to VECTYR, open Profile, select Privacy & Data, and choose Delete Account. If you cannot access your account, email support@vectyrapp.com from the address associated with the account.

9. Data Retention

We retain your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, personal data is removed immediately; residual copies in encrypted backups expire on the backup rotation schedule.

10. Children

VECTYR is for adults and is not directed at children. You must be at least 18 to use the Service.
